The exciting CHP Series is among the world's smallest high-performance chip antennas. Favorable electrical specifications, stability, and cost-effectiveness make the CHP Series the logical choice for a wide variety of applications, including Bluetooth, 802.11, home RF, ZigBee, and other popular and emerging standards. The antennas use advanced Low Temperature Co-fired Ceramic (LTCC) technology and a proprietary hybrid element to achieve size and performance characteristics superior to other designs. The favorable electrical specifications include a 50-ohm characteristic impedance, omnidirectional pattern, > unity gain with a linear polarization, and a usable bandwidth of 10MHz (868MHz and 916MHz) and 180MHz (2.45GHz). The antennas are extremely stable over temperature and time, allowing reliable performance in adverse environments. The tiny 868 and 916MHz antennas measure 16.0mm (L) x 3.0 mm (W) x 1.7mm (H) and the 2.4GHz package measures a mere 6.5mm (L) x 2.2mm (W) x 1.0mm (H). The entire family is compatible with hand- and reflow-assembly.
