We have an established pedigree in the design, manufacture, test and supply of a wide range of RF (radio-frequency) and microwave related products and services to customers in the Aerospace & Defence, Automotive, Space and specialised communications, sectors. Specific technologies appropriate to such applications include low-temperature co-fired ceramic (LTCC), thick-film hybrids, duroids and a full range of 'high-frequency' laminates. We also have automated high-accuracy die placement equipment and precise profiled wedge-wedge and ball-crescent wire bonding capability. Our range of products includes Ku band PA and LNA modules designed for applications such as satellite communications, point to point data links, radio-location and test equipment. Product testing is automated wherever possible, using our extensive range of microwave test instrumentation with customised interface test heads. We continually enhance our manufacturing and test capability through our dedicated Advanced Technology Group. This development team works closely with customers to develop the optimum solution for their particular set of product requirements, and provides on-going support throughout the product life cycle to reduce cost, enhance performance and address obsolescence issues. We assemble and test gallium arsenide and silicon germanium MMICs (monolithic microwave integrated circuits) in single-chip and multi-chip modules operating at frequencies of over 30 GHz in low-cost, high-performance packaging solutions. We also service applications that require tolerance of harsh environments using ruggedised, high-temperature packages.
