The 4.9 GHz WaveRider NCL4900 wireless bridge operates in the 4.940-4.990 GHz Public Safety Band, allowing public safety agencies to build a secure, interference free wireless communications infrastructure with best-in-class features and performance.
An NCL4900 network can be quickly built and brought on-line for a variety of public safety applications including short and long distance point-to-point and point-to-multipoint configurations. Whether the end-use is file transfer, Internet access, voice, or video transport, the NCL4900 Series has been designed to work seamlessly in your network.
The NCL4900 features a priority queuing system to support a QoS-enabled network. Multiple queues allow higher priority traffic to "jump ahead" of lower priority traffic within a network to help avoid bottlenecks during peak times of network usage.
The NCL4900 is also available in countries where the 4.9 GHz spectrum is available for licensed operation.
Equipped with a 400 mW (26 dBm) radio, the NCL4900 ouperforms other 4.9 GHz products in its class.
