Axon'Cable offers microwave coaxial assemblies with very low losses. They are mainly used as measurement and equipment assemblies, as well as for antennae. In the aeronautics field, they are used for radar, antennae, surveillance systems.
Axon' microwave coaxial assemblies are used in a frequency range of 0 to 40 GHz at temperatures of -55°C to +125°C or -40°C to +95°C depending on the type of jacketing material.
The cables are terminated either with SMA, N or TNC connectors. On request, an overmoulding of the cable/connector termination can be done to assure even higher waterproofing and mechanical protection.
For use in communications, Axon' offers assemblies for base receiver stations with a very low intermodulation level (PIM < -155 dBc). These assemblies are terminated with connectors series 7/16 and 4.1/9.5.
Axon' has also developped hypbrid harnesses to meet very specific requirements for complex applications. They integrate various configurations of wires and terminations such as coaxials up to 40 GHz, high flex wires, shielded pairs, fiber optics, power cables, optimised shielding etc and are connected to circular, miniature or coaxial connectors.
The high flex microwave assemblies of the AXOWAVE U series have been specially designed for high repetitive bending as required for dynamic applications (radar, surveillance or navigation systems).
Materials have been chosen to guarantee good mechanical and electrical characteristics.
